Research and intelligence

Track Japanese and international regulation, guidance and operating practice, and organise the implications for adopters in Japan.

Common review foundations

Develop practical questions covering data, accountability, security, continuity and third-party dependencies.

Industry dialogue

Convene users, technology providers, experts and relevant institutions around concrete implementation questions.

Education and capability

Prepare working sessions, training and reference material for professionals responsible for cross-functional governance.

Initial priorities

  • Develop a pilot set of common review questions for overseas AI and cloud providers
  • Interview Japanese procurement, legal, security and business teams on recurring approval barriers
  • Clarify practical issues relating to data location, subprocessors, incident response and AI transparency
  • Design foundational education for professionals responsible for AI compliance and technology procurement
